Rate Schedule 61A - Residential Critical Peak Time of Use

Availability

Available to customers of the Cooperative for all farm and home uses, subject to its established rules and regulations.  The rated capacity of individual motors served under this schedule shall not exceed 10 horsepower.

Applicability

All service under this rate schedule shall be received at one voltage from a single delivery point, shall be measured by one meter, is for the exclusive use of the customer for non-commercial purposes, and shall not be resold or shared with others.

Type of Service

Single-phase, 60 cycles, at available secondary voltage.

Daily Rate

Daily Service Charge        $0.95

Plus:  

21.800 cents per KWH for all on peak KWH's

5.433 cents per KWH for all off-peak kWh’s

Determination of Peak, Shoulder and off Peak times

          Summer Period (May – October)

• Peak - Hour beginning at 3:00 p.m. through hour ending at 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
• Off Peak – all remaining hours Monday through Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday

          Winter Period (November – April)

• Peak - Hour beginning at 6:00 a.m. through hour ending at 8:00 a.m.; and Hour beginning at 5:00 p.m. through hour ending at 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
• Off Peak – all remaining hours Monday through Friday, all day Saturday and Sunday, New Year's Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

Minimum Charges

The minimum charge under the above reate shall be the daily service charge multiplied times the number of days service since the previous bill date.

Average Delivered Power Cost

To the total of the above charges for electric service under this rate schedule, there shall be added or subtracted an amount determined in accordance with the Association's Power Cost Adjustment Rider.  A copy of the Power Cost Adjustment Rider is available at any office of the Association or at www.coastepa.com.

Tax Expense Adjustment

To the total of the above charges for electric service under this rate schedule, there shall be added or subtracted an amount determined in accordance with the Association's Tax Expense Adjustment Rider.  A copy of the Tax Expense Adjustment Rider is available at any office of the Association or at www.coastepa.com.

Tax Clause

To the total of all charges for electric service under this rate schedule shall be added the applicable existing Mississippi State and municipal sales taxes.

Terms of Payment

The above rates are due and payable upon receipt.

Effective:   April 1, 2011
