Rate Schedule 55B - Churches Time of Use

Availability

Availability to Churches only, for all uses including lighting, air conditioning, heating and power, subject to the established rules and regulations.

Type of Service

Single-phase and three-phase where available, at available secondary voltages.  Customer shall be responsible for providing protection from single-phasing of three-phase loads.

Daily Rate

Daily Service Charge       $1.14

Plus:

18.098 cents per KWH for all on peak KWH's

6.394 cents per KWH for all off-peak kWh’s

Determination of Peak, Shoulder and off Peak times

          Summer Period (May – October)

  • Peak - Hour beginning at 3:00 p.m. through hour ending at 8:00 p.m.
  • Off Peak – all remaining hours

          Winter Period (November – April)

  • Peak - Hour beginning at 6:00 a.m. through hour ending at 8:00 a.m.; and Hour beginning at 3:00 p.m. through hour ending at 8:00 p.m.
  • Off Peak – all remaining hours

Minimum Charges

The minimum monthly charge under the above rate shall be the daily service charge of $1.14 multiplied by the number of days in th ebilling cycle pllus $3.00 per kW of billed demand.

Determination of Billing Demand

The billing demand shall be the maximum kilowatt established by the customer for any fifteen (15) consecutive minutes during the month for which the bill is rendered, as indicated or recorded by a demand meter, but it shall not be less than 75 % of the maximum demand established at any time during the preceding 11 months. The Cooperative may, at its option, install a KVA meter or other appropriate meter to determine KVA and base the KW requirement on 90% of the KVA requirement so metered.

Average Delivered Power Cost

To the total of the above charges for electric service under this rate schedule, there shall be added or subtracted an amount determined in accordance with the Association's Power Cost Adjustment Rider.  A copy of the Power Cost Adjustment Rider is available at any office of the Association or at www.coastepa.com.

Tax Expense Adjustment

To the total of the above charges for electric service under this rate schedule, there shall be added or subtracted an amount determined in accordance with the Association's Tax Expense Adjustment Rider.  A copy of the Tax Expense Adjustment Rider is available at any office of the Association or at www.coastepa.com.

Tax Clause

To the total of all charges for electric service under this rate schedule shall be added the applicable existing Mississippi State and municipal sales taxes.

Terms of Payment

The above rates are due and payable upon receipt.
