Notice of Credit Card Service Fee
Effective Oct. 1, our credit card processing company will charge a $3.95 service fee for payments made with a debit or credit card. There is no fee charged to those making debit or credit card payments in person at a Coast Electric payment center. Your electric cooperative will not make a profit from this fee.

Levelized Billing

Levelized payment plan is a program for residential customers that allows you to pay approximately the same amount on your electric bill each month. Under this plan, the amount you pay each month is based on an average of your actual monthly consumption for a one year period. To qualify, you need to have had power at your current address for no less than 12 months.

To calculate your average monthly payment amount, we take the current month's usage and add it to the last 11 months of usuage. We then divide by 12 to arrive at your average monthly payment amount. Contact Coast Electric at 1-800-624-3348 to sign up.

3rd Party Notification

Third Party Notification is an excellent service offered to Coast Electric members that will automatically notify the person of your choosing if your electric bill is past due.

A past due reminder will be sent to both you and your chosen third party.

This service is especially helpful for people who have a billing address outside Coast Electric's service territory. This service is also perfect for an elderly friend or relative. Questions about the Third Party Notification program can be answered by contacting Coast Electric Power Association at 1-800-624-3348 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
